The Pitch
A very good place to eat, with a prix fixe menu at lunch that is not cheap, but still affordable (37 euros for a starter, main dish and dessert) and well worth the price: it's light, well seasoned, no gimicks, masterfully cooked, the plates are skillfully dressed with a mix of classic and unusual ingredients. At the end of the meal, your stomach is jumping for joy at having been so deliciously indulged. What's more, the service is anything but snobby, which is the perfect signature to finish the picture.
The Meal
Sea urchin, cauliflower, mullet
Turbot, blue stalk mushrooms, leeks, celery root purée
Pork, jerusalem artichokes, black olives
Chocolate, sweet woodruff, caramel
Pear, beer, buckwheat
We had a Chenin Sauvignon and a "Trio" by Christophe Fouchet.
It costed 104 euros for two people : the 2 meals, the 2 glasses of wine and 2 coffees.
